Can you tell what... powers and special abilities you retained while you were an inmate? I promised your husband that I'd request the Admiral raise his abilities to that level. But... I need to know what it was first.

Oh, this... Of course.

Things have changed greatly since that time. I lacked only in the access to black magic. In all other ways, I was whole. This seems no longer so for others of my kind who find themselves here.

It is likely the Admiral will deny it, but I made a promise in good faith to request it. No magic left you... flying, speed, strength, healing... what else? I will fight rather vigorously for the healing at least.

I'm not sure which of your abilities were magic, per se. Enthralling people?

All ways of the predator were mine to possess. Certain other things... The sudden vanishing from one place to appear in another... These were no longer mine.

To heal from injury, I had no trouble with this. And to fly? Yes, I could this, also. But times, yes, they have changed. Perhaps the Admiral now realises the danger in leaving us free.

Or they simply refuse to listen. It is difficult to know...

Well, I will try to talk to the Admiral about it. Vladisaus is understandably frustrated with his current condition. He's been so very good about not killing people, I don't think his self-control should be an issue.
